SDGs stands for “Sustainable Development Goals,” and refers to a set of international development goals to be achieved by 2030 as outlined in the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” adopted by the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Summit held in September 2015. The SDGs consist of 17 goals, such as “No Poverty,” “Good Health and Well-Being” and “Climate Change,” and are designed to achieve integrated solutions to various economic, social, and environmental challenges.
